Open .screenstudio files in Screenrecplus
Import Screen Studio packages on your Mac: video, mouse path, zoom ranges, cuts, and extra audio. Screenrecplus reads the files on disk. No upload.
Teams sitting on a library of .screenstudio packages should not re-record every demo to switch tools. Screenrecplus opens those packages in place.
What gets read
- The screen movie inside the package (HLS or a remuxed mp4 when it exists)
- Mouse samples and clicks, mapped into video pixels
- Zoom ranges, including follow-click-groups
- Timeline slices already cut in Screen Studio
- Extra microphone or system-audio files
- Webcam, if the package has one
Offline
The package has to be on the Mac. iCloud or Drive placeholders that are not downloaded are skipped so the app does not freeze on metadata. Download the package, then open it from File or drop it on the dock icon.
After import
You can add zooms, split, cut, change look, and export. Sidecar edits live next to the package cache, so the original Screen Studio file is not rewritten.
See the full alternative comparison if you are moving a whole library.
